DAY 1: AIRPORT / COLOMBO CITY TOUR

 

  • Upon arrival, meet with our representative at the Airport and proceed to Colombo.

  • Be ready to explore Sri Lanka’s commercial capital “Colombo” which possesses the most dynamic blend of modernity, history, and culture.

DAY 2: COLOMBO/PINNAWALA ELEPHANT ORPHANAGE/MAWANELLA SPICE GARDEN/KANDY

 

  • Today, head to an elephant orphanage, nestled in the lush landscapes of Pinnawala, take the opportunity to see these gentle giants up close and interact with them.

  • Next, indulge in the aromatic world of spices nestled in the heart of Sri Lanka and proceed to Kandy.

DAY 3: KANDY CITY TOUR, PERADENIYA GARDENS & THE TEMPLE OF THE TOOTH

 

  • Upon arrival in Kandy, explore the vibrant city of Kandy, a cultural gem and a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

  • Enjoy your time strolling in the Peradeniya Botanical Gardens, also known as the Royal Botanical Gardens which has once been used as the Royal Gardens of local kings.

  • Late afternoon, visit the most scared Kandy Temple of the Tooth Relic, which houses a tooth relic of Lord Buddha.

DAY 4: KANDY/ RAMBODA FALLS/TEA FACTORY/NUWARA ELIYA

 

  • En route to misty central hills of Nuwara Eliya, stop over at the Ramboda Falls.

  • Later, visit a Tea factory nestled in the tea hills of Sri Lanka  and a tea plantation, here, don’t forget to enjoy a cup of true Ceylon Tea.

DAY 5: NUWARA ELIYA/GREGORY LAKE/NANU OYA/ TRAIN RIDE TO ELLA / NINE ARCH BRIDGE

 

  • Take sometime to enjoy the weather and walk around the Lake Gregory.

  • Later, take the rails to Ella! Indulge in an island style train experience to one of the most scenic locations in the hill country “Ella”.

  • While in Ella take the opportunity to see the most Instagrammed locations in Ella, “Nine Arch Bridge” known as an architectural marvel built during the British Colonial Era.

DAY 6: ELLA/ LITTLE ADAM’S PEAK / ELLA RAVANA FALLS / BEACH

 

  • Lace up the boots to hike the stunning landscapes of Ella.  Little Adam's Peak is short yet a wonderful way to explore the scenic, lush surroundings of the area.

  • Next, proceed to see the picturesque cascade Ravana Falls, the falls are named after the legendary king Ravana of the ancient Hindu epic Ramayana.

  • Later, proceed to the beaches to relax.

DAY 7: MADU RIVER BOAT SAFARI & TURTLE HATCHERY

 

  • Get on a boat to explore the tranquil Madu River and its ecosystem. Boat through the lush mangrove forests and famous islands.

  • Next be ready for a heartwarming experience with sea turtles at a turtle hatchery, learn fascinating facts about turtle life cycles, nesting habits, and the ongoing conservation efforts to protect these magnificent creatures.
